                                                                               January 29, 2014

Today I used the For Always Close To My Heart paper, Frame It Up Flair stamp set, and For Every Occasion Occasions stamp set. This is a fun and simple way to add a pattern paper and a colored cardstock. You could probably look through your paper scrap box and make a set of cards with different sentiments. I hope you enjoy.

#28                                                                                January 28, 2014

Today I wanted to show you one of my favorite tools that Close To My Heart has. It is called the Quilling Tool (Z1795). This tool extremely helpful to roll the flowers that are on the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. The best part is it is only $7.95. Today I worked on the top of a My Creations Memory Game. I used the Later Sk8r Close To My Heart paper. It is still a work in progress so I will keep you posted as it progresses. The tiles are just placed on there for the picture I will show you the finished project at the end.

#26                                                                                January 26, 2014

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday. Today I did a duo of cards using the Thanks stamp set. It is amazing the difference in these projects by just changing the color of the card base. I hope this inspires you to see what you can make with the same stamp and just making one small change.

Today's card is a Thank You card that I used a 1 1/4" circle punch to make. The base of the card is black cardstock and the circles are paper I had in my scrap paper box. The sentiment is from the For Every Occasion Occasions stamp set. I hope you enjoy.

#22                                                                                January 22, 2014

Today's card had to be a quick one as my kids are not feeling very well. So I got out my handy circle punch and my Cuttlebug and away we went. When I put the colored paper through the Cuttlebug the white core became exposed so I inked over it. The fun part is you can ink and little or as much as you want.

 Circle punch (2")

Circles (Patterned paper, Slate cardstock, and
embossed through the Cuttlebug without ink)

This is what I got done of the card today. I would like to add a sentiment
or something else on the front later. I will post it again after it is finished.

Today's project is made from the Lucy paper Spring/Summer 2012 idea book. I really enjoy the paper and wanted to create a project that highlighted the many things you can do with a little paper and some ink. The "Thank You" sentiment is stamped in Grey Wool ink.

#16                                                                                January 16, 2014

This is the fifth card from the Cloud Nine Cardmaking Kit. The "Hip Hip Hooray" sentiment would be great for a mustache themed Birthday invitation or Thank you. You could stamp it in any color to match with the decoration for the party.

#14                                                                                January 14, 2014

Today's card is a elegant Thank You card using the Le Belle Vie paper, Baroque Borders stamp set(S1208), and For Every Occasion Occasions stamp set. I used a hexagon punch to make the background design. I used my Xyron 250 sticker maker to adhese the hexagons to the card base and I also added a little ribbon for a finishing touch.

#13                                                                                January 13, 2014

Today I made another card from the Cloud Nine Cardmaking Kit. I used to be so worried about being perfect with my crafts, I did not enjoy doing it. I wanted to show you how if the paper is a little too long you can just trim it off at the end after you adhere it to the card base. (Make sure you do this before you put on any 3-D embellishments.)

#12                                                                                January 12, 2014

Today's card was so much fun to make because my son and I did it together. That is the one thing I enjoy the most about being creative, it can be a family event. He helped me sponge the hearts for the card. I hope you enjoy this card too.

#7                                                                                   January 7, 2014

For today's card I used the Flirty paper with Ponderosa Pine and Flirty Raspberry cardstock. The pattern paper is arranged in a sunburst/starburst pattern. I have used this pattern before but this is the first time I have inked the edges of the paper. It really does alot to bring out each piece. The stamp set is Casual Expressions Occasions. I hope you enjoy.

#3                                                                     Friday, January 3, 2014

Today's card is using the You Only Live Once stamp set. I left the inside blank so it could be used for a variety of occasions. I took a blank white card and then stamped the flowers and colored in the center of each flower. I think the inking around the wording really makes it pop.

To kick off the New Year I wanted to post my Christmas card from this year. I used the CTMH stamp set Everlasting Life Holidays. I used two of the stamps from the set one for the inside and one for the outside. It is simple but fun.
