Today I used the herringbone technique to use different B&T Duos paper scraps. I also used pear ink and A True Thank You (M1029) stamp set. Instead of putting adhesive on each individual strip, I put adhesive on the card base and then placed the stripes on top.

Today was a busy day so I went for a fun and simple way to make a card,
using a punch. Punches are a great way to get the same exact shape but you can use different pieces of paper for contrast. The card that is pictured below is using the Lollydoodle B & T Duos paper.

I used a hexagon punch and then alternated the different sides of the paper. On a card like this I put the adhesive on the base paper and then put the punched shapes on it so that I do not have to put adhesive on each individual shape. You could also use a Xyron Creative Station or Create a Sticker.

Today I used my Cuttlebug to make the Honeycomb pattern on the Pansy Purple cardstrock. The stamp is from the Big Hug Occasions (D1584) stamp set. I used a speedball roller to create the depth in the pattern on the honeycombs.

In this picture you can see the top piece of paper is after I used the speed baller with the Pansy Purple and the bottom piece of paper is just the cardstock without the ink just embossed in the Cuttlebug.

This is the finished card.

This card is made with the Whooo's Your Valentine (D1548) stamp set. The background paper I put through the Cuttlebug. To make the kisses I used an extra large flower punch.

Here you can see the top piece of paper on the picture below is the full stamp. Then you can see below the words individually. I used the masking technique to make them individual words. You can use a scrape piece of paper but I like to use a post or two to mask off the parts of the stamp that I do not want stamped.

Today I used the Skylark B & T Duos paper from the Spring/Summer idea book. The stamp set I used is the You Are My Happy Alphabet (CC1025) but you can use your favorite alphabet to do a similar card.
Have you ever wondered why to save the strip of paper on the top of the B & T Duos paper? Well you can use it on your projects. The chevron pattern on the left side of the Good Luck part of the card is that strip of paper. I hope you will find you can also incorporate these into your projects.
